# 98 cents for an AI agent that knows everything about me

I wanted recruiters to get answers about my work before we ever talked, so I built an agent for it. Then the dashboard behind it became a product.

The chat on this page answers questions about me. It went live in July. By the day I recorded this video, it had cost me 98 cents.

I built it while redesigning this site and getting ready to apply for jobs. I wanted recruiters and hiring managers to get their questions answered before we ever got on a call. So I gave it my background, my work history, the companies I've worked with, and every post on this blog.

It answers almost anything. Ask it my salary and it won't give you a number. That one is for a conversation.

I wanted three things from it: accurate answers, a small bill, and a view of everything it does. Every conversation lands in a dashboard with where the visitor is from, what they asked, which documents the answer used, and what it cost. The conversation in the video came to $0.0037.

That dashboard turned out to be the more useful half. It's now a product called [Sondo](https://usesondo.com), and you can put the same agent on your own site.

The video walks through all of it, from the first question to the evals that picked the models.
