# Designing a marketing site, on camera

36 minutes of designing the Sondo landing page, start to finish. Claude Code gave me 13 designs and I rejected all of them. What happened in Figma afterward is the actual point.

This is a screen recording of a full design job, start to finish: the marketing site for Sondo, the chat widget in the corner of this page. Nothing skipped, including the waiting.

[The first video](/blog/peeko-on-camera/) was about why I left Google Analytics. This one is about a thing I do most weeks and have never shown.

The setup is the one I use for most build work now. One session acts as a conductor and spawns five worker agents, each on its own design direction. Underneath it is the same daily loop from [my Claude Code workflow](/blog/my-actual-claude-code-workflow-as-a-designer/).

It produced 13 designs across three rounds. I did not like any of them enough to put my own product on.

That is the part worth watching, and not because the tool failed. I exported the closest one into Figma, redesigned it by hand, then sliced the result into sections and handed it back to six agents to build as real code, each one checking its section against the Figma file. The building went beautifully. The deciding was mine, and it was always going to be.
