# My joke website made $10. Then it made $150.

The whole ass.auction story in 18 minutes. It made $10 on launch day. Then a Product Hunt launch I forgot about made $140 more.

Two weeks ago I [wrote up a joke website](/blog/i-built-a-joke-website-in-ten-days-it-made-10/) that made $10. This is the video of the same site, and of what happened next.

The site is ass.auction. Brands pay to put their logo on a pair of boxers, and a line at the top promises to tattoo it on my ass. With an asterisk.

On launch day I posted it on X. 153 views, two likes, both from friends. Then a Product Hunt launch I had scheduled and forgotten about went live, and the same site made $140 more.

The video walks through all of it: the trend that started it, the design directions, the interactions I spent far too long on, and the real numbers from Peeko.

It is the third video on the channel, after [Peeko](/blog/peeko-on-camera/) and [the Sondo marketing site](/blog/designing-a-marketing-site-on-camera/). The least serious of the three. Maybe the most useful.
